As school board trustees we will
advocate for the following:
- As school board trustees we will note here a Supreme Court of Canada 1991 decision that gave union management the right to do whatever they want with union dues, regardless of the views of the members who paid the dues. We will advocate that the public service (which includes teachers) should be required to be politically neutral. As such, they should not be permitted to unionize at all in light of the above Supreme Court of Canada decision as unions are not politically neutral.
- We will oppose all efforts of union leadership to impose far-left radical political ideology on our K-12 public schools.
